I work in a variety of mediums, primarily acrylic and collage. Most often, my process starts with the application of bold, juicy color followed by some pattern and texture, and the piece evolves from there.

Using hand-carved stamps and a variety of line and pattern-making tools, I create my own collage papers and layer paint and paper, allowing the previous layer to peek through.

Almost always, it is riotous color that inspires me....and as the layering process continues, the form evolves.
